Dato' Yap Fook Choy

Group Executive Director

Dato' Yap brings over 38 years of experience in tiling, construction and property development, having played a key role in delivering major multi-million ringgit projects across Malaysia. He expanded into property development in 2008 alongside Dato' Sri Yap Ngan Choy, and has been instrumental in rehabilitating Bandar Salak Perdana and reviving Grand Ion Delemen development in Genting Highlands. Collectively, he has overseen development projects with an estimated gross development value exceeding RM3.0 billion. Projects under his supervision have received recognition from the ASEAN Property Awards, Asia Pacific Property Awards, Malaysia Tourism Council Gold Award and The Malaysia Book of Records.

Dato' Sri Yap Ngan Choy

With over 42 years of experience in construction and property development, Dato' Sri Yap founded NCT in 1985. He has led the Group from a tiling contractor into a diversified development group, delivering projects across Malaysia, including hotels, condominiums, townships and key government developments such as the Prime Minister's Office in Putrajaya. Widely recognised for his role in rehabilitating major abandoned developments, Dato' Sri Yap led the revival of landmark projects including Bandar Salak Tinggi, then Malaysia's largest abandoned development, and Billion Court, which was transformed into Grand Ion Delemen in Genting Highlands. Collectively representing an estimated GDV of RM1.0 billion, these projects helped establish NCT Group's reputation as a trusted White Knight developer.

Sae-Yap Atthakovit holds a Bachelor's in Business Management from the University of Manchester. He has experience in project financing, short- and long-term financial planning, and corporate finance transactions, including land-related deals. He has also contributed to shaping the Group's business strategies and policies.

Yap Chun Theng

Yap Chun Theng holds a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying and Construction Cost Management from Nottingham Trent University. With nearly two decades of experience in property development and construction, he has held various leadership positions within the Group, including Group Chief Operating Officer, where he oversaw development and construction projects across the Group.

With over three decades of experience in property development, he has held senior leadership roles across finance, business development, sales and marketing.Recognised for driving strategic transformation, sales performance and business growth, he has led initiatives to strengthen financial positions, drive land monetisation strategies and unlock investment opportunities across regional markets. Combining design-led thinking with commercial acumen, he brings an integrated approach to development from concept to execution.

Eng Kim Haw is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), United Kingdom. With over 26 years of experience in corporate finance, financial management, restructuring and strategic business planning, he has held senior finance leadership positions across diverse industries. His expertise includes financial reporting, internal controls, financial planning and project feasibility studies for both local and international property developments. Having served across sectors including property development, construction, hospitality, manufacturing and consumer goods, he brings broad strategic and operational insight to the Group.

Yap Pui Yee studied Accountancy at Sunway College and began her career with NCT Group in 2010. She rose through the ranks and was appointed Head of Sales and Marketing in 2015, where she oversees the Group's sales, marketing and corporate communications functions.With over 13 years of experience in the property development industry, she has played an instrumental role in the growth and success of NCT Group. Among the notable projects under her leadership are the award-winning Grand Ion Delemen and Grand Ion Majestic developments in Genting Highlands. Her expertise includes brand development, market strategy, product positioning and driving sales growth.

Ar Mong Meng Wei holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Malaya and brings over 20 years of experience in the property development industry. A Registered Architect with the Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM) and member of the Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM), he has extensive expertise in project planning, product development, project management and construction management. As Chief Operating Officer, he leads NCT World Group's project planning and development functions, ensuring effective execution from conceptualisation through to completion. Throughout his career, he has been involved in major developments with an aggregate gross development value exceeding RM10 billion across Malaysia and international markets.
